Ambika Sharma and Jesús Morte signed the agreement
Jesús Morte, Chairman of the Aragón Entrepreneurs Confederation (CREA), and Ambika Sharma, Deputy Secretary General of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), signed a cooperation agreement in Zaragoza to strengthen bilateral relations and analyse the opportunities that India could offer SMEs from Aragón. The agreement was signed within the framework of the seminar organised by the Spain India Council Foundation at the seat of the Aragón Regional Government.
Jesús Morte highlighted the importance of strengthening relations with India, which is the world’s third largest country by investment volume in Aragón through companies such as Tata Hispano, a patron of the Foundation. Morte stated that entering foreign markets is "one of the main pillars for competitiveness and for regional and national economies to thrive."
Founded in 1927, FICCI is one of the country’s top business organisations with over 250,000 member companies.
