The second Spain-India Dialogue organised by the SIOb in the framework of its 2023 Programme on “India Matters? Maritime Security, Governance and Commerce in the Indo-Pacific” was held in Madrid on March 28th, 2023, and has counted on the keynote speech of Dr Samir Saran and the collaboration of Fundación Ramón Areces and IE School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs
The II Spain-India Dialogue was addressed by Dr Samir Saran, President of the Observer Research Foundation and Chair of the T20 India Secretariat, delivering a keynote speech on “India Matters? Maritime Security, Governance and Commerce in the Indo-Pacific”. A couple of side events were also held at Fundación Ramón Areces with government officials and business leaders on “India's 2023 G20 Presidency: What to expect?” and with representatives from Spanish think tanks and experts on Asia on “India's Foreign Policy in 2023: What are the main issues, challenges and opportunities ahead?”.
