An excellent opportunity to promote collaborations between clusters and companies in both markets
Within the framework of the Renewable Energy Expo India (REI), the European Commission, through the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), is organizing an EU-India Matchmaking Event in the cities of New Delhi and Greater Noida, from October 21 to 23 of this year.
The event will be jointly organized by the European Commission through the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), in collaboration with the Federation of European Enterprises in India and the European Business Network (EEN). It will bring together cluster organizations and SMEs from the European Union (EU), India, and non-EU countries participating in the Single Market Programme/COSME Example. It will offer participants an excellent opportunity to promote collaborations between clusters (C2C), between clusters and businesses (C2B), and between businesses (B2B).
Participation in the EU-India Matchmaking Event will include a series of activities: a preparatory webinar; a technical webinar; a seminar on knowledge sharing to foster EU-India cooperation; introductory meetings and partner searches; an information session; a project presentation session; and participation in the Renewable Energy India Expo 2026, including personalized visits to booths and guided tours by key exhibitors.
This expo is one of India's most important events in the field of renewable energy and clean technologies. More than 1,000 exhibitors and 300 speakers participated in the 2005 edition, which attracted 55,000 visitors: representatives from industry, innovation, and the public sector.
This EU initiative targets companies and clusters with the following focus areas:
▪️ Clean technologies
▪️ Renewable energy and storage
▪️ Renewable energy equipment manufacturers
▪️ Smart grid and energy infrastructure
▪️ Support for green finance and investment
This call for expressions of interest is open to cluster organizations and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from EU countries (and non-EU countries participating in the Single Market Programme (SMP)/COSME Line) that wish to participate.
Expressions of interest to participate in this event must be submitted electronically via EUSurvey by 17 June 2026 at 23:59 (Brussels time). Additional deadlines are planned for 8 July (second deadline) and 31 August 2026 (third deadline). These two deadlines will only be available if places remain after the evaluation of previous applications.
