Dance, yoga, and body expression in Casa de la India's 2025-2026 courses

Offers classes in different types of Indian dances and yoga and meditation seminars

The Casa de la India in Valladolid has announced its new activities for the 2025–2026 academic year, with proposals that merge tradition, wellness, and creativity. Among its main programs are the regular classes at the Kalasangam Dance School and the yoga seminar with Apeksha Bhagwat, inviting participants of all ages to immerse themselves in the art and spirituality of India.

Kalasangam Dance School: Tradition and Movement

From October to June, the Kalasangam Dance School will offer regular classes for children, youth, and adults. The program includes:

▪️ Bharata Natyam dance, traditional and semi-classical
▪️ Bollywood dance
▪️ Body expression and movement arts courses
▪️ Fitness training based on Yoga and Kalaripayyattu (a South Indian martial art)

The sessions are complemented by artistic creation and expression techniques and will feature guest teachers. The school offers its own certification.

Yoga with Apeksha Bhagwat: Body, Mind, and Self-Discovery

The yoga course, also from October to June, will be led by teacher Apeksha Bhagwat. Under the theme "Strengthen your body, calm your mind, and embark on a journey of self-discovery," practical yoga and meditation classes will be offered, geared toward those seeking physical and emotional balance.
