Antolin announces the sale of three legal entities in India for 159 million euros

The Spanish company will maintain its joint venture with Krishna Maruti Limited and its global activities at its technical offices in Pune and Hyderabad

Antolin, a Spanish manufacturer of technological solutions for automotive interiors, has announced the sale of three legal entities in India to Shriram Pistons & Rings for €159 million.

The transaction, expected to close in the coming weeks, involves more than 1,500 employees, who will join the Indian company. The transferred business represents an annual turnover of approximately €110 million and includes the manufacture of headliners, interior trim pieces, and lighting systems, among other products. Antolin and Shriram Pistons & Rings have also signed a long-term technology licensing agreement to guarantee supply to customers and maintain quality standards.

Upon completion of the transaction, Antolin will retain its offices in Pune and Hyderabad as global development centers. The company will also maintain its joint venture with Krishna Maruti Limited.

Cristina Blanco, CEO of Antolin, states that the company's strategy is "to improve our financial stability and strengthen liquidity, focusing on the areas where our company can add the most value. We are confident that our operations in India will thrive under the ownership of Shriram Pistons & Rings."
