During the visit to Palau de la Generalitat, the leaders made a brief tour trough the facilities of the imposing building of medieval origin. Afterwards, they had a meeting with Roger Albinyana, who has detailed the main assets that Catalonia can offer to India. In this sense, he stood out the capabilities of Catalan pharmaceutical industry as a possibility of trade with India, which is the largest producer of generic drugs in the world.
The secretary of Foreign Affaris, also highlighted the touristic activities in Catalonia and the powerful food industry, which already works with other emerging countries such as Russia.
Finally he rostered some companies that already have presence in India like Cepsa, Torres, Taurus or Roca.
