The event was attended by the three members of the consortium: the Ambassador of India to Spain, the Mayor of Valladolid and the Chancellor of the University. Also travelled from India to attend this event H.E. Ambassador Tripathi, who in 2006 held this position in Spain.
This anniversary has coincided with the Global Microcredit Summit held in Valladolid, and Casa de la India, in collaboration with the Secretariat of State for Cooperation, organized an exhibition on "Women, rural development and microcredit in India", with the attendance of the Director General for Cultural and Scientific Relations of the AECID, Mr. Carlos Alberdi.
