This event brings together experts, institutions, companies, and startups to explore how technology and generative AI optimize agriculture, livestock farming, and food security
Now firmly established as the leading European congress on AI applied to the agri-food chain, the fourth edition of SembrAI, organized by the University of Córdoba, will feature India as its Guest Country this year.
Among the topics to be addressed during the congress are precision agriculture, agricultural robotics, the use of drones, food security, and sustainability.
This edition of SembrAI is part of the Spain-India Dual Year 2026, one of whose pillars is precisely Artificial Intelligence. A program called India AI Agrifood 10 will be held, featuring presentations by experts from the Asian country, as well as an Indian Pavilion showcasing Indian companies in the sector, and a dozen startups selected by Startup India/DPIIT—an initiative of the Government of India whose objective is to foster innovation, boost economic growth, and generate employment by supporting entrepreneurs and new businesses.
In addition to coinciding with the Spain-India Dual Year, the SembrAI organizers emphasize that this event takes place within a strategic context for relations between India and the European Union, opening new opportunities for Spanish products.
SembrAI 2026 will be held at the Rectorate of the University of Córdoba on September 21 and 22. More information is available on the official website.
